Technology plays a vital part in our everyday life. But for those people and organisations without Basic Digital Skills, the benefits of the internet that we may take for granted remain locked away and out of reach.
Digital capability is an essential skill for everyone. It’s vital that we address the UK’s lack of Basic Digital Skills in order to sustain economic growth, productivity and social mobility.
We actively seek out and work with partners across the public, private and voluntary sectors to identify opportunities and develop programmes that improve Basic Digital Skills among people and organisations.
By defining Basic Digital Skills we can ensure we are helping everyone in the UK achieve the same minimum standard of digital capability.
The Go ON UK Digital Exclusion Heatmap helps you to identify the likelihood of digital exclusion in your local area so you can focus efforts where it is needed most.
Go ON Local provides organisations with best practice advice, tools and collaboration opportunities on how to improve local levels of Basic Digital Skills.
We’ve developed a National Partner programme to enable more organisations to work with us and help accelerate Basic Digital Skills across the UK.
